Here we go, here we go, here we go.

It’s Union Conference time again here in the UK!
Time to sit back and listen to our Union representatives making their various speeches and doing their very best for us in conference halls across the nation.
The great and the good of Government will be there too as will the great and the good of the opposition.
Already the tone has been set:
“The national curriculum should be fundamentally reformed with more focus on skills rather than specific subjects, a teachers’ union has said.
Tests for under-16s in England should also go, the Association of Teachers and Lecturers argues.
It wants ministers to give children “entitlements” to broad skills, such as creativity and physical co-ordination, rather than specific knowledge.
The Department for Education said tests provided objective benchmarks.
ATL general secretary Mary Bousted said the current system was “not fit for purpose”.

And so it begins!
Whatever next? Will there be references to redundancies? To falling rolls? To pensions? To TLR payments? To workforce reform? To League Tables? To the new Education Bill?
Yup, there will.
Will such references, such debates make a difference.
Now there is the question!
Any answers out there?
Watch this space!
