Fewer Teacher Training places over next two years
Falling pupils numbers and stable recruitment will lead to a downturn in teacher training places over the next two years.
There are also more newly qualified primary school teachers than needed, with some resulting unemployment.
Couldn’t have anything to do with the huge expansion in the number of Teaching assistants in schools could it?
